Time for a brief Koolaid update!
He has been settling in with his foster family pretty well. He likes to come out of the cage and hang around on top of it but hasn't ventured off of it on his own. He will step up for my 16yr old daughter but isn't interested in stepping up for me. He hasn't been too loud so far at all. He will occasionally scream which we ignore but he does say Hello! frequently. The video shows his favorite trick which is hanging upside down and resting his beak on the perch. He will do this and do a little squawk to make sure we notice. One of his favorite treats so far is a bit of banana.
